Privacy Policy
This website is an informational page run by Nora C. Arango and Karen Arango, licensed life insurance agents in Massachusetts and Florida. Here we explain what data we receive when you contact us, what we use it for, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we receive
The site has no accounts and no database of its own. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us:
- Contact form: your name, phone, email (optional), city (optional), what you are interested in, and a short description of your situation. Submitting it stores nothing on this site: it opens WhatsApp on your phone or computer with that message already written, and we receive it on our business WhatsApp, (781) 655-9014.
- Calculator: the amounts you move on the sliders are computed in your browser and are not sent anywhere. If you then use the form, the estimate is included in the WhatsApp message only if you moved a slider.
- Calls, messages and emails to the phone numbers and the email published on the site: we answer them ourselves.
What we use it for
To reply to you, to prepare the first conversation, and, if you decide to go ahead, to put together your application with the insurer you choose. We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it with the insurer when you request a quote or a policy, and with the platforms we use to communicate with you (WhatsApp, phone, email).
Third-party services this site loads
- WhatsApp (Meta): the button and the form open WhatsApp with your message. WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies.
- Instagram (Meta): if you tap a reel cover, Instagram’s official player loads inside the page and may use its own cookies. Instagram’s policy applies. If you do not tap it, nothing from Instagram loads.
- Visit measurement: when active, we use Google Analytics 4 with anonymized IP addresses to know how many people visit the site and which buttons they use. It does not record names or phone numbers. You can block it with your browser settings or a blocking extension.
This site sets no cookies of its own and does not ask for your location.
How long we keep it
WhatsApp messages, calls and emails stay on our work devices while we have an active conversation or policy with you, and we delete them afterwards. If you buy a policy, the insurer keeps your application under its own rules and each state’s law.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the data you sent us. Write to us on WhatsApp at (781) 866-9187 or email info@arangolegacy.com and we will do it within 30 days. If you live in Massachusetts or Florida, you can also file a complaint with your state’s consumer protection office.
Minors
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly request or keep data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above. The Spanish version is at arangolegacy.com/privacidad/.
